Mine the grid. Every round, one tile pays.
FLAME is an on-chain mining game. The board is split into a 5×5 field of 25 tiles. Every round, miners deploy ETH onto any tiles they like — then a drand beacon, BLS-verified on-chain, strikes exactly one. Everyone mining the winning tile splits 88% of that round's ETH, and every round mines fresh FLAME into existence. Miss the tile and your ETH funds the winners. Hit it and you take a share of everything deployed.
FLAME launches fairly: 500 FLAME is minted at genesis — 440 seeds the ETH/FLAME liquidity pool so the token is tradeable from day one, and 60 (permanently staked) is locked to the team forever, earning yield like any other permanent stake but never withdrawable or sellable. Beyond that, all supply is created through mining — no pre-sale — and it halves every 365 days, tapering toward the 1,000,000 hard cap without ever quite mathematically reaching it.
Pick your tiles
Choose any of the 25 tiles and set your ETH per tile — one tile or all of them, any amount. Auto-Mine repeats a subscription across rounds without you touching each one.
The countdown ends
A round lasts 60 seconds (75s full cycle including a 15s intermission), running on a fixed 24/7 clock. When it locks, the winning tile is chosen by a drand beacon, BLS-verified on-chain — so no one can predict or rig it.
One tile wins
Miners on the winning tile split 88% of every ETH deployed that round, in proportion to how much each of them put on the tile. Everyone else's deployment feeds that pot.
FLAME is mined
The winning tile receives 1 FLAME (the epoch-0 win emission — it halves every year alongside the jackpot drips and team allocation). Same inherited mechanic this was forked from: a 50/50 coin flip each round decides the payout mode — either split proportionally among everyone on the winning tile by how much they deployed, or awarded outright to one randomly selected winner, odds weighted by ETH deployed.
Every round's deployed ETH is split the same way, automatically, on-chain — this is the split at launch:
Winners always take the overwhelming share. Stakers earn real ETH yield from every round played, Big and Mini ETH ML both grow round after round toward their own jackpot draws, 1% seeds the Crucible pot that the auction pays out on every round close, 0.4% keeps the lights on, 0.1% covers the keeper bot's own gas so round-settlement never stalls for lack of it, and the 0.5% team allocation never reaches a wallet at all — it accrues and is periodically swapped for FLAME, then locked into a permanent stake for the team (see "Tokenomics" for the full breakdown of every team-facing stream). In total the protocol takes a 12% fee each round on top of the 88% winning tile keeps.
Once the RWA Vault ships post-launch, this split shifts to make room for it — the winning tile's share drops from 88% to 86%, and the freed 2% funds two new RWA-only streams: 1% into the RWA purchase budget and 1% into a dedicated RWA jackpot. Every other stream above (stakers, both ETH Motherlodes, Crucible, and all three team-facing lines) stays exactly the same size, before or after RWA launches.
Three independent, domain-separated drand rolls happen every round — all three can hit in the same round. Built from a brief that wanted more ETH-denominated jackpot winnings than token winnings (less sell pressure, gives miners ammo to keep mining):
Token ML
Pays FLAME only, funded by a steady 0.075 FLAME/round drip (no ETH cut). Claimed via a tax that starts at 20% right at the hit and decays linearly to a standard 10% over 12 hours — deters instant claim-and-dump bots without punishing patient winners forever.
Big ETH ML
Pays ETH only, funded by 1% of every round's deployed ETH. Builds slowly, hits rarely — the headline pot. On a hit, 80% pays out and 20% stays behind to seed the next pot, so it never resets to zero.
Mini ETH ML
Pays ETH only, funded by another 1% of every round. Hits regularly — a steady refuel so miners chasing the bigger jackpots don't run dry waiting for them. Same 80%-paid/20%-carried-over split as the Big ETH ML on a hit.
Jackpot ETH (Big/Mini ML) is untaxed, same as ordinary round winnings — only the Token ML's FLAME carries the decaying claim tax. Token ML has no carryover — it fully drains to zero on a hit, same as before.
Winning fills your Rewards panel with two things: Unclaimed ETH (your share of the rounds you've won — claim it any time, no fee) and Mined FLAME (the FLAME mined from the rounds you've won).
When you claim your Mined FLAME outright, a 10% fee comes out, split two ways: 7.5% is paid out as Passive FLAME to miners who haven't claimed yet, and 2.5% is burned outright, permanently reducing supply. In other words, the longer you hold your Mined FLAME, the more Passive FLAME you collect from everyone who claims early — and every early claim also shrinks total supply a little for everyone. No lockups or schedules — patience is simply rewarded.
Claim ETH
Claims your ETH only — your Mined FLAME stays untouched, so you keep holding it and keep collecting Passive FLAME.
Stake/Burn
Sends your Mined FLAME and any Passive FLAME you've accrued straight into a permanent stake that can't be withdrawn, earning at 4× weight — no fee on either balance.
Claim All
Takes your Mined FLAME to your wallet immediately. Of the 10% fee, 7.5% is paid out as Passive FLAME to the miners still holding theirs, and 2.5% is burned.
Stakers share 8% of every round's deployed ETH, paid in ETH. Your weight in the pool is your stake times your lock multiplier — the longer (or more permanently) you commit, the larger your slice of every round:
| Tier | Weight | Lock |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Day | 1.1× | Timed |
| 1 Week | 1.2× | Timed |
| 1 Month | 1.4× | Timed |
| 3 Months | 2.0× | Timed |
| 6 Months | 2.6× | Timed |
| Permanent | 4.0× | Forever |
Your share of the pool is your staked FLAME × your multiplier, divided by the total effective weight of all stakers — as others stake and unstake, your share shifts with the pool. Rewards accrue continuously and can be claimed anytime without touching your staked position; timed positions unlock once their lock expires. The permanent tier is the maximum-conviction play: your FLAME is never destroyed — it stays locked forever, and in exchange you earn at 4× weight for as long as you hold the position.
Permanent-tier stakers get one more thing no other tier does: a fully separate ETH stream funded by the RWA Vault (coming post-launch) whenever the owner realizes gains on the vault's real-world asset position. It's tracked and claimed separately from ordinary round yield, so it's always clear on-chain how much of a payout came from which source.
The Crucible is FLAME's side game — a king-of-the-hill auction, not a lottery. There's no odds gimmick and no random roll: whoever's FLAME bid is standing tallest when the round timer runs out just wins the pot outright. Bidding costs you FLAME, never ETH, so the only people with a reason to play are people already holding FLAME.
Bid FLAME to lead
Each round has a running timer. Bid FLAME to take the top spot — the first bid just needs to clear the minimum; after that, every new bid has to outbid the current leader by at least the live minOutbidBps margin.
Outbid? Mostly refunded
Get outbid and 75% of your FLAME comes straight back — the other 25% is held as the house cut, not burned yet. It only gets paired into LP or burned once the round closes (see step 4). Get outbid again later in the same round and that cut isn't a fresh 25% stacked on top — it's capped at 25% of everything you've bid that round in total, so repeated outbids converge toward that one 25%, never past it. Topping up your own bid while you're already leading costs no cut at all, since nobody's being outbid.
Anti-snipe extension
A bid landing right before the timer hits zero pushes the close out a little further, so a round can't be won by a last-second bid nobody had a chance to answer.
Round closes
Closing is permissionless — anyone can trigger it once the timer's up, and the next bid() on a fresh round does it automatically anyway. The winner's FLAME bid is burned outright — the full price of the win, on top of the 25% cuts already taken from everyone they outbid along the way.
At close, the Crucible winner receives the accrued ETH reward through the dedicated winner-claims vault. The winning FLAME bid is burned permanently.
The FLAME/ETH pool carries a flat 2% tax on buys and a flat 2% tax on sells (only on real DEX trades through the pool, never ordinary wallet-to-wallet transfers). Every taxed trade destroys part of FLAME and queues the rest for permanent liquidity — nothing from this tax funds the RWA Vault or any jackpot:
The 1.5% queued for LP is processed so half gets swapped for ETH and the pair is added as a full-range position the pool's own tax hook owns — there's no coded liquidity-removal function for that position, so once it's locked in, it stays locked in. Three separate paths feed permanent LP over time:
Genesis LP
The 440 FLAME + launch ETH that seeds the pool on day one — the one LP path that still needs a deliberate manual lock/burn step at launch, everything below is fully automatic.
Trade-tax LP
The ongoing 1.5% queued above — permissionless, held by the pool's own tax hook, growing with every taxed trade forever.
Crucible LP
Outbid cuts collected during a Crucible round, plus up to 10% of that round's ETH pot, get paired into LP when the round closes — whatever FLAME can't be paired burns outright instead (see "Crucible").
Net effect: burns permanently shrink supply, and every trade-tax/Crucible-sourced LP addition is permanent and one-directional — deeper, locked liquidity and less liquid FLAME in free circulation, on top of whatever claims, trades, and permanent staking already remove.
RWA Vault — a future layer, not live at launch
The RWA Vault is funded separately, from the round-ETH split covered on "Where the ETH goes" — 2% of game volume (1% RWA purchase budget + 1% RWA jackpot, both post-RWA-launch only), not from the trading tax above. FLAME is burned as the wager on every jackpot spin; the default top-tier outcome is 50× at a 2% hit chance. Whenever the owner realizes gains on the vault's real-world asset position, 100% of those proceeds go straight to permanent-burn stakers (see "Staking") — off-chain asset value stays owner-reported, not on-chain verified, until the on-chain Stock Token path described in earlier drafts of this page ships alongside it.
Every random draw — the round's winning tile, and (once RWA Vault ships) each Vault spin — is chosen by a drand beacon, BLS-verified on-chain before winnings move, so no one, including the team, can predict or rig it. The Crucible needs no randomness at all: the highest FLAME bid standing when the timer runs out simply wins, verifiable by anyone from the bid history alone. Anyone will be able to check any round's result from the Stats page once it's live: the winning tile, the proof, and every payout.
Every FLAME number in one place — supply, the halving schedule, taxes, and exactly how much of each round the team ever touches. This page is a reference; the mechanics behind each number are explained on the earlier pages.
Supply
| Genesis mint | 500 FLAME |
| — seeds the ETH/FLAME LP | 440 FLAME |
| — permanent team stake | 60 FLAME |
| Hard cap | 1,000,000 FLAME |
| Halving period | Every 365 days |
No pre-sale, and no dedicated BOW-migration carve-out in genesis — BOW holders are captured out of the team's own ongoing allocation funds instead (see the team allocation row below), not a separate genesis pool. Everything beyond genesis is mined. Under the halving schedule, total supply converges toward roughly 938,170 FLAME (~94% of the cap) rather than actually reaching it — the 1,000,000 cap is a hard backstop, not the expected end state.
Per-round FLAME emissions (epoch 0 — all three halve together every year)
| Stream | Rate | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Win emission | 1.000 | Winning tile (50% chance split / 50% chance solo) |
| Token ML drip | 0.075 | Token ML jackpot pool |
| Team allocation | 0.040 | Team address, direct mint |
| Total / round | 1.115 | — |
Only the team allocation row is an unconditional mint — it lands the same every round regardless of who plays or wins. Every other FLAME minted is earned through the game: won on a tile, hit on a jackpot, or streamed to stakers. Nobody, including the team, can mint FLAME outside these fixed, on-chain rules.
Buy/sell tax — 2% on real DEX trades only
See "Trading & Liquidity" for how the 1.5% LP queue splits across Genesis LP, Trade-tax LP, and Crucible LP, and how the RWA Vault is funded separately from the round-ETH split instead.
Everywhere the team touches FLAME or round ETH
Kept deliberately on one list, since it's the thing people actually want to check at a glance:
Genesis permanent stake
One-time, at launch. Permanent staking position (4× weight) — can never be unstaked or sold, only earns yield forever like any other permanent stake.
Team allocation (mint)
Direct mint straight to the team address, halving every year alongside every other emission stream. Liquid — this is the one stream that isn't locked.
Admin fee
Plain ETH, paid straight out every round — covers real operating costs (RPC, infra, hosting). Spendable on arrival.
Keeper gas
Plain ETH, paid straight out every round — covers the keeper bot's own gas costs specifically, so round settlement, jackpot rolls, and checkpointing never stall for lack of it.
Team allocation (ETH stream)
Never paid out as ETH. Accrues on-chain, then anyone can trigger a swap into FLAME that locks 100% of it into a permanent stake — real buy pressure, and the team only ever earns future yield from it, never gets principal back. (This site calls it "team buyback" elsewhere to keep it distinct from the FLAME-mint row above — same stream either name.)
Nothing below is a promise — once deployed, every contract will be source-verified and public, and every number on this page will be checkable against the code that holds the money.
FLAME Token
The ERC-20 itself. Hard-capped at 1,000,000, with the 2% buy/sell tax described above.
Not yet deployedMining Game
Runs the 25-tile rounds: takes deploys, splits the ETH, mints emissions, and holds the two ETH jackpots — plus the team buyback pot described on the Tokenomics page.
Not yet deployedThe Crucible
The king-of-the-hill FLAME-bidding side game. Sweeps its round's ETH pot from GridGame on close rather than holding a balance itself.
Not yet deployedRWA Vault
Collects the tax, runs the jackpot spin, and holds the RWA purchase budget and any on-chain Stock Token positions.
Not yet deployedStaking
Holds every stake and streams both the ordinary round yield and the RWA permanent-staker dividend. Permanent-tier positions here never unlock — including the genesis team allocation and the ongoing team buyback.
Not yet deployedDrand Beacon
Verifies drand randomness on-chain with a BLS check — the reusable piece that makes every draw provable rather than trusted.
